88-INF-57 - Consolidated Services Plan, 89 Poverty Levels
The purpose of this letter is to transmit the 1989 poverty level incomes to be used in determining eligibility for services. State income eligibility standards are expressed as a percentage of the poverty level which is updated on a yearly basis. Local district income eligibility standards are recorded in Appendix F of the local district Consolidated Services Plan and Annual Implementation Reports and are used as input to the district's Title XX services matrix within the Welfare Management System.

88-INF-67 - Refugee Entrant Assistance Program - Eligibility of Certain Amerasian Immigrants
On March 20, 1988 Public Law 100-202 established the resumption of the Orderly Departure program with Vietnam, providing for certain Amerasisans and their close family members to be admitted to the United States in immigration status. Through this new legislation, the Amerasians and family members in this immigration status are eligible for Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) funded benefits as though they were refugees. This informational letter describes the documentation for this group of immigrants to assist local districts in identifying them as eligible for refugee social services.
