What is FAMS?
The Facility Application and Management System also known as FAMS is a secure system designed to streamline the initial application submission and background check processes.
For initial applications, organize and store your documents all in one place, track your initial application progress, and obtain approvals for your license or registration in significantly less time than submitting a paper application.

Why use FAMS for your initial application?
- Set aside paper and use FAMS to complete your initial application faster, more efficiently, and transparently.
- FAMS does all the work of sorting and organizing the application information for you, so you can focus on one section at a time.
- Save your work as you go so you can work on it when time allows. You don’t have time to do it all at once!
- FAMS tracks your progress and provides a clear picture of where you are in the application process.
- FAMS Submit section reminds you what you need to complete with a direct link for quick access.

How Do I Access FAMS?
- To access FAMS you will need a valid email address
- Once you have completed the OCFS-Approved orientation you will receive an email invitation with a link to create your FAMS account
- Review the documents on this page for helpful FAMS information.
