Regulation No. 8
Change of Placement Purpose
- An ICPC-100B should be prepared and sent in accordance with its accompanying instructions whenever there is a change of purpose in an existing placement, e.g., from foster care to preadoption even though the placement recipient remains the same. However, when a receiving state or a sending state requests a new ICPC-100A in such a case, it should be provided by the sending agency and transmitted in accordance with usual procedures for processing of ICPC-100As.
- Words and phrases used in this regulation have the same meanings as in the Compact, unless the context clearly requires another meaning.
- This regulation is effective on and after April 30, 2000, pursuant to Article VII of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children by action of the Association of Administrators of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children at its annual meeting of April 30–May 3, 2000.
