Men’s Chorus Makes for a Moving Father’s Day

The Men’s Chorus  added to the worship services at Industry Residential Center on Father’s Day.   Older chorus members opened with traditional gospel songs; younger choristers concluded the service with newer numbers, accompanied by MV Music Director Thomas Green on keyboard.
At the invitation of the Rev. Karyn L. Carter, facility chaplain, some Industry residents and Men’s Chorus members honored males in their lives by mentioning the significance of a father or father-figure. They spoke of familiar heartfelt stories and painful memories of males active and missing in their lives.
