Transition Fund Update (May 2020)
The SFY 2020-21 Enacted Budget has extended the service period for the SFY 2019-20 Family First Transition Fund. Due to the challenges and uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the SFY 2019-20 Family First Transition Fund has been extended for 12 months. These funds will now be available to reimburse expenses through March 31, 2021, with claims due no later than June 30, 2021. Local departments of social services should spend and claim for SFY 2019-20 Family First Transition Funds prior to any Family First Transition Funds that may be allocated in subsequent years.
