Statewide Financial System (SFS)

SFS – User Access

The Statewide Financial System (SFS) is a NYS government initiative to replace its over 25-year-old Central Accounting System and several agency financial management systems with one integrated, statewide system.

Users are being granted access to SFS through a role mapping process which matches users to particular roles in SFS based on their current job duties, travel requirements or purchasing ability.

If you will have access to SFS at go-live (1/1/12), you should already have been contacted in some manner by the SFS team at OCFS.

A user list was supplied to SFS on July 1, 2011. In order to keep this list current we need to update the following information:

Since July 1, 2011:

  • If your Supervisor has changed, please provide the name of your old and new Supervisor
  • If your position has changed since July 1, 2011 please provide your new title and official station (Where would you get interoffice mail)
  • If you are a Supervisor, we need to know if the people you supervise have changed
    • Names of people you now supervise
    • Names of people you no longer supervise
  • Any new users to your team and the name of their  Supervisor
  • Any users who have left OCFS for any reason since July 1, 2011
    • If they were a supervisor, who did they supervise and who now supervises those people

Please send the requested information in an email to the OCFS SFS Security Administrator:
