Statewide Financial System (SFS)

sfs =  Statewide Financial System Goes Live on Jan. 1, 2012

The Statewide Financial System (SFS) Program is a New York State government initiative to replace its over 25-year-old Central Accounting System and several agency financial management systems with one integrated, statewide system.  SFS is scheduled to go live on January 1, 2012.  The training links found on this page will provide information on transitioning to SFS.

All OCFS employees who travel and/or purchase items as part of their normal duties, should become familiar with SFS prior to the go live date. In addition, SFS will be handling the functions of budget, accounts payable and receivable, and  general ledger.  Staff in these areas should also become familiar with the SFS and its functionality. Online training for SFS can be accessed at If you require any assistance accessing training, please contact
