Whether you are a youth in placement, a youth’s attorney or law guardian, or a parent, you can reach out to OOTO in several ways. If you are not a youth in placement, make sure to include information about where and how to reach you.

Call the OOTO Helpline: 1-888-219-9818

Weekdays

OOTO’s office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. An ombudsman can address most of your issues then.

Weeknights and Weekends

An ombudsman is always on call. If you call the Helpline after 5 p.m. or on weekends,

  • Press 1 to leave a message for OOTO;
  • Press 2 if your call is about police contact.

Use the Ombudsman Contact Form to submit a complaint by email or post. It will help you organize the information you should provide with a complaint.
