Supervise Children and Family Services 1 staff. Apply in-depth knowledge of laws, rules and regulations governing agency programs. Ensure that procedures, policies, and information sharing address State and Federal requirements as it relates to Child Preventive Services and eligibility. Provide guidance and direction, while maintaining a collaborative relationship, to Regional Office staff, and other agency program areas. Develop standards for program evaluation and strategies, as well as supervision and guidance of unit activities and staff. Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
Minimum Qualifications
One year of permanent competitive service as a Children and Family Services Specialist 2 or eligible for a 70.1 transfer.

The candidate for this position will serve as a Supervisor in the areas of child welfare; this includes overseeing the development of policies for federal legislative compliance pertaining to Child Preventive Services and eligibility. In addition, this position requires strong writing skills, effective communication skills, and vast knowledge of Child Preventive Services. Travel required 10% of the time.
