Education and Training Vouchers (ETV)

The Education and Training Voucher Program helps youth aging out of foster care to make the transition to self-sufficiency and receive the education, training and services necessary to obtain employment.

Foster Youth College Success Initiative

This program provides additional support services and funding to help meet the costs of college for eligible students. If you are a youth in foster care or were in foster care after your 13th birthday, and you are attending or applying to college, you may be eligible for more funding and support services.

Scholarship Opportunities

OCFS recognizes the important role education can play in the lives of foster youth. This page can guide and equip youth in care with the tools to navigate the higher education system as they prepare to transition out of care.
