The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) is pleased to announce that five agencies are awarded $1.0 million aimed at providing quality home visiting services through the Healthy Families New York (HFNY) home visiting program in some of the highest need communities in New York State where intensive home visiting services are not available. HFNY home visiting program is a comprehensive prevention program that focuses on the safety and well-being of children while at the same time supporting families with services that are respectful of cultural and community diversity.

The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) is pleased to announce that 8 agencies are awarded $2.5 million aimed at improving the safety, permanency and well-being of children in adoptive and legal guardianship families. The purpose of these funds is to fund Regional Permanency Resource Centers, which will increase the State’s capacity to strengthen families by providing critical post-adoption and post-guardianship services with programs designed based on the unique needs of adoptive and guardianship families. These resource centers will serve families in a minimum of four (4) upstate counties or serve families in a minimum of two boroughs in New York City.
