Strollers Recalled to Repair by phil and teds USA Due to Amputation and Laceration Hazards

The  U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the voluntary recall of phil and teds USA, Inc. Jogging Strollers.  A consumer’s finger may become caught in the hinge mechanism, posing amputation and laceration hazards when the strollers are being folded and unfolded. The recall involves sport V2 and classic V1 model single-seat jogging strollers.  Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact phil and ted USA to arrange for the shipping of a free hinge-cover kit and repair instructions.  To contact phil and teds USA, please call 877-432-1642 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday or visit the company’s website.
