OCFS Meets With Representatives From South Korea

A delegation of South Koreans from the Chung Nam province recently met with OCFS Chief of Staff/Assistant Commissioner and several OCFS representatives. They were given an overview of our child welfare programs and oversight including the care of foster children, juvenile justice systems and laws that govern these issues. The delegation was on a fact finding tour of both New York and Canada to learn about how different governments handle the responsibilities of caring for children and families.
