Change File Location Defaults
By making these changes when "Save" or
"Save As" is selected the file location will default to the
server instead of the hard drive. This must be completed under the user's
id.
Word
- Open Word
- Click on Tools
- Click on Options
- Click on File Locations tab
- Click on Modify
- On drop down list select server the user
is on
- Select proper userid
- Click OK
- Click Close
Excel
- Open Excel
- Click on Tools
- Click on Options
- Click on General tab
- At Default File Location: Type H:\userid
(Remove what is there before typing) br>
Note: If doing from a pc with W2000 just need to enter H:\
- Click OK br>
