You are on this page: Operational Data Store
The CONNECTIONS Operational Data Store (ODS) is a raw data feed that enables the sharing of CONNECTIONS data with local districts and voluntary agencies. The ODS is a database updated through the course of daily business operations. The primary purpose of an ODS is to collect, integrate and distribute a current view of information supporting tactical or day-to-day decision making and facilitating the sharing of detailed, current information. It is intended to be used by districts and agencies with a need to bring CONNECTIONS data into downstream systems, and requires significant IT resources to understand and process the data locally.
Access to the CONNECTIONS ODS is provided through the New York State Virtual Desktop program. There is an application process for districts and agencies to obtain OCFS approval to use the ODS; see the “OCFS CONNECTIONS Operational Data Store Offering” document below under the ODS Application/Renewal Package for more information.
