Statewide Financial System (SFS)

SFS Training Available Online

The Statewide Financial System (SFS) Program is a New York State government initiative to replace its over 25-year-old Central Accounting System and several agency financial management systems with one integrated, statewide system.

As part of this transition and in preparation for the “go live” date of Jan. 1, 2012, the SFS team has created numerous online training modules that individuals may participate in.  These courses provide general information as well as in-depth knowledge on accessing, navigating and processing in SFS.

Training modules -- also known as User Productivity Kits (UPKs), Job Aids, Learner Guides and much more -- can be found at: http://www.sfs.ny.gov/training/trainingCourses.htm

You can also discuss your training needs with the training coordinator in your unit.
