Duties Under supervision of senior research staff, engage in research pertaining to child welfare and juvenile justice programs and initiatives. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing testable research hypotheses to evaluate and inform child welfare and juvenile justice programming; designing performance metrics and outcome based research studies and reports; extracting, preparing, and analyzing data from administrative databases to respond to programmatic data requests and federal reporting requirements; analyzing and interpreting findings in a manner that informs programming and policies; and design, monitoring and maintenance of date marts to facilitate required analysis. Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree and three years of professional research experience in the area(s) of child welfare, criminal justice, psychology, social work, sociology, program evaluation or other related field, OR

Master’s Degree in Social Welfare, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology other related field, and two years of professional research experience in the area(s) of child welfare, criminal justice, social work, psychology, sociology, program evaluation or other related field; OR

A Doctorate Degree in Social Welfare, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology or other related field.
