NYSCB Article Featured on NYSILC Blog
The New York State Independent Living Council (NYSILC) has published an article on its blog by the Commission for the Blind's Julie Cardone, who is featured as a guest blogger for February 2014.
The post is a testament to the remarkable work the NYSCB does for New Yorkers who are blind.
"Sometimes, the help provided comes in the form of job training, or a liaison to bridge the gap between individuals and their employers; sometimes, it means helping New Yorkers find a new way to do things," Cardone writes. "NYSCB is focused on equality, giving everyone the chance to be integrated in their communities and to live fulfilling, productive lives."
